In 2011 I played an event in Detroit called Ultra Mega Awesome Extreme. A very friendly fan named Jackie came up to me and nervously asked me if I was going to play You're A Bad Cat Man. I told her I'd try to, but due to set length limitations I didn't end up being able to (it was not exactly my favorite song to play at that point).
For the following year's UMAE, I decided to make an all new version of the song so that I actually enjoyed playing it. Additionally, remaking the song allows me to represent my production abilities a lot more, while still allowing fan to enjoy a song they're usually very familiar with.
