This song discusses basically everyone's ultimate fear: that you will not accomplish everything you want to, that you'll be unfulfilled.
One of my biggest struggles in this life is with the mental bullshit that keeps me feeling like I exist, and feeling guilty about ever feeling good.
That is truly what Bad Happy means.
Being too guarded to let yourself experience joy or pleasure because you straight up fear feeling too much happiness.
I know it's bad and I fight with it, even now, years after releasing this album, but it's so hard.
