This song is dripping with so much metaphor obscured meaning that I don't know where to begin... not to mention, my memory is horrible.

The fundamental theme of this song is environmentalism. There are a few lines that are painfully obvious, but most of it is me just using vague J-RPG imagery and a combat situation as a metaphor for destruction of the environment and a situation where citizens could actually take a real meaningful stand against corporations that have no regard for nature.

This song replaced Disco Party as my most popular when I released it. I think this song is actually the one that turned a ton of people on to this project, and even now, even amongst people who actually follow this project actively and know what I do now is worlds better than this, this really lo-fi version of this song hits home for them.
This song also marked an epiphany for me, because while it's by no means A POP SONG, the "but I have brought the fire" section of this song made me feel like I could actually truly write music, that my super weird synth-pop grindcore project had a future.

Another fun fact, this is the first song that someone else tried to claim as their own. Some douche bag started claiming that all I did was help him write the lyrics. Thankfully, a lot of people took my side, eventually including his girlfriend.
That event, however, traumatized me, and I haven't been able to open an email or message since without my heart starting to race. Worse things have happened since, too, so it's only been reinforced.
