"Meow Fast" was originally going to be a remix of Meow Flute, and then turned into me writing a sequel to the song, before I decided to simply write something new all together.

888 Days is symbolic of the fact that it took my forever to release TAFKA8LDM, and that the original release date was meant to be August 8th, 2008

The other side of it is the idea of time passing by incredibly quickly, and that if I could view life with the time perception ratios of a cat's life expectancy, things wouldn't feel so fast.

Ephemerality and feeling like life is blowing past me is one of the main themes of Bad Happy.
